the
red lion
rampant

never should flag not fly
red lion from great glen
scots fought most to die
now we stand for them

argue not among our own
red lion with calm head
united we can stand alone
then scotlands proudly said

weak folk who never stand
red lion holds firm ground
would give up sacred land
defeated make not a sound

look around stake a claim
red lion with caution leaps
board our own freedom train
before old ben nevis weeps

hear lone pipers skirl abound
red lion looks through mist
those that only hang around
one day will not be missed

feel that patriots inner rush
red lion beckons you near
threats we must now hush
freedoms live with-out fear

raised rampant held so high
red lion makes bold stand
futures child will know why
independence is for scotland

the red lion rampant is the historical royal flag of ancient scotland that has been flown proudly on some of the bloodiest battlefields the world has ever known in defense of a small proud nation the lions heart.......scotland...aye
